New to the area Hello all -

I recently moved into the area (The Park at Arlington Ridge apartments on 28th Street). I see that you all typically meet on the 2nd and the 4th Saturdays. Is there an event planned for next week? Do people get together on other days?

I've got a small-to-moderately sized collection (my wife seems to think it is actually far too large, but that is a different story), and I'm typically into Euro games on the medium to heavy side of the spectrum.

New to the area Thanks, Chris -- I'll try to make it out this weekend, and catch you some other time.

4th Saturday gaming - Feb 27th I'm planning to be there around 1pm.

I'd be up for either Nippon or Mombasa if there was room for a newbie (haven't played either).

Have any of you played Golden Ages? I've got the expansion, and I think it is quite good. I'll bring it along.

Spring approaches, time for some gaming! 3-12 I hope to be there -- I won't be able to come until a little later in the day (maybe 5 or 6).

I've been wanting to learn/play Wallenstein/Shogun, Concordia, Brass/Age of Industry (also other Wallace titles: A Study in Emerald, Liberte, ...). I've also never played Cosmic Encounter, but I would like to if there are any takers. But, as always, I'm up for most anything.

I'm happy to bring Golden Ages again. I also have a copy of De Vulgari Eloquentia (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/75165/de-vulgari-eloquentia) which is sort of weird game, but I quite like it.

Fourth Saturday gaming, 3/26 I hope to be able to come. If I am able, it won't be until around 5 or 6.

April no-foolin', 2nd Saturday Gaming I'm planning to be there. Probably showing up around 5.

I'd love to learn Concordia if there is some interest.

Do people want to play Golden Ages again? (with the expansion?)

Would anyone like to play CO2? I've got a copy, and I don't get to play it much. Same goes for Ginkgopolis, Snowdonia, De Vulgari Eloquentia..

EPIC gaming this Saturday, April 23 I hope to be there, and I anticipate arriving around 5pm and staying till around 11.
I'd still love to learn Concordia if there is interest.

I'm also down for another game of Ginkgopolis.

I'm intrigued by Imperial, and if people are enthusiastic about it, I'd be interested in learning.

Gaming, 6/11 - On! I'm planning on coming - I've recently acquired Gold West and Spirits of the Rice Paddy.

I'm also down for another round of Golden Ages if there are any takers.

Gaming, 6/11 - On! I'm hoping to be over between 2:30 and 3:30.

Summer gaming - 6-25 I'll be there later in the day. I'd love to try out some (relatively) older titles if there is any interest:

Anitke (or Antike II)

Hansa Teutonica

Chicago Express

Shogun/Wallenstein

I also just picked up Neanderthal if there are any Phillip Eklund fans...

July 4th Gaming Are people planning on staying into the evening? I may be able to come, but not until later.
7/7/2016 4:34:39 PM
The gaming onslaught continues, 7/9/16 I hope to be there later in the afternoon (maybe 4 or 5?)-

I'm still eager to play Neanderthal

I'd also be interested in playing Tigris and Euphrates

Learning/Playing Eminent Domain

Fourth Saturday gaming - 7/23 I'll try to be there at 1, and I'll probably stay late (family's out of town this week)
8/11/2016 4:22:09 PM
Cool gaming, in spirit if not temperature. 8/13 I'll be there around 4:30 or 5.

I'd love to learn/play Kraftwagen if anyone has a copy and is up to it.

August 27th - 4th Saturday gaming I'll be there, and the family's out of town, so I'll try to get there around 1:00.

I'm up for most anything. I'd like to play Shogun if anyone is up for it (it is a retheme of Wallenstein). Also, would there be any interest in Captain Sonar? It is a real-time team game that needs 6-8 to really work well.

Have you ever played Space Alert, Brad? The description of Captain Sonar reminds me of that one quite a bit. SA is also a real-time game with different roles and frantic gameplay, except it's purely cooperative.

I actually own it. I've played it a few times, but it is hard to get it started up with a new group because it has so many little rules. We had some people we had played with in Wisconsin, but we haven't played it since the move due to the learning curve challenge.

9/24 gaming I hope I can make it around 5 or so, but there is some possibility that I won't be able to make it at all.

Terraforming Mars is pretty good (at least from the one time that I've played it).

Captain Sonar is good too -- is there enough interest? It probably needs a minimum of 6.

An early october game day, 10/8 I'll probably be there around 5. Mare Nostrum sounds interesting.
