Who is on for some gaming this Saturday?
I picked up a copy of a new deck builder with some interesting mechanics (Mystic Vale) that I can probably teach, I played it once at the Game Haven.

I'll be there, and the family's out of town, so I'll try to get there around 1:00.
I'm up for most anything. I'd like to play Shogun if anyone is up for it (it is a retheme of Wallenstein). Also, would there be any interest in Captain Sonar? It is a real-time team game that needs 6-8 to really work well.

I should be there by 1 PM. If anyone has Quadropolis or Isle of Skye, could you bring them to the game? I have to submit my votes for a Game of the Year election in 3 weeks and I need to play both of those games some more to solidify my feelings about them. Thanks!

Have you ever played Space Alert, Brad? The description of Captain Sonar reminds me of that one quite a bit. SA is also a real-time game with different roles and frantic gameplay, except it's purely cooperative.

I actually own it. I've played it a few times, but it is hard to get it started up with a new group because it has so many little rules. We had some people we had played with in Wisconsin, but we haven't played it since the move due to the learning curve challenge.

I should be there after a 2-month hiatus. Probably arrive at 1PM. I am interested in Capt Sonar. I will bring Scythe and whatever else crawls into my satchel. I am interested in Quadropolis also, though I will pass on Isle of Skye. I played it last year and it fell flat for me. Surprised it's getting as much love/hype as it is.

I'm also back after too long an absence. Can't see myself doing Captain Sonar but interested in learning Scythe or Quadropolis. I should get there about 1:10, depending on traffic/parking.

I'll roll in later in the afternoon. Interested in Scythe, Grand Austria Hotel, and dozens of other games. Happy to suffer through Capt. Sonar....it's a short game.

I'd be up for Shogun and Scythe (which I'll bring), or just about anything else that hits the table.
