My feeble attempt to clear up some shelf space... Kent,

Thanks for the games! I will not forget the extra 5$.
Hopefully you can get in on a session of Hornet.

Ran through a game of Forbidden Island playing all 4 characters but let a key tile sink.
Thus: I played with myself and LOST ...

Gaming 9/10 - Last summer game day! Will be there by 1pm, with a JJ's sub of course.

The push your luck Port Royal card game looks fun. I have not played Carrara before but did read the rules, the price changing mechanic is clever.

9/24 gaming I too will be there by 1. Last week there was talk of Carrara which looked interesting to me. Thanks to Jeff's tip I picked up the new Grail Games Medici edition with pretty and functional art.

An early october game day, 10/8 I should be there by 1pm. Still want to try Carrara.
Might be foolish enough to go a second round of Scythe with Marvin. Scythe's mixture of Euro and American styles works better than I had expected.

10/22 gaming I should be there by 1.
Apparently to try Palaces of Carrara with myself Speaking of historic Italian building themed games, John do you have Firenze?
Continuing the Italian theme would enjoy breaking in my new edition of Medici.

November 12? I will be there by 1. Will bring the new to me copy of Doge.
Marvin, after you left I took your seat and played the new Pennsylvania expansion to TTR.
I found their stock mechanic pointless. No shared increase of value, reducing them to mere set collection. Bah, would much rather play Airlines instead.
What was your opinion of the expansion?

Only two more game days in winter! Alas a creeping crud of a flu possessed my body, do not want to risk spreading this wretched malady to anyone. Enjoy gaming for me.

Lose an hour, gain some gaming! I survived the horrible flu. Oracle looks interesting so I watched a rules overview on BGG. Should be at John's by 1.

Spring is Sprung! Time for some gaming I will be there by 1, interested in:

Port Royal, because after buying it have only played once

Delphi again, despite it feeling chaotic and having bad luck I did like the pick up and deliver mechanic

Mines of Zavandor seems appealing and I usually like auction games

Someday I will learn GWT. Maybe.

Gaming 4/8 Speaking of rail games several years ago Eric introduced me to Paris Connection which I instantly liked. Amazon put it on sale for $16 so I will be bringing Paris Connection.

I will try to read the rules for Spike tonight, which are assuredly longer than Paris C See yall at 1 pm.

April 22 -> fourth Saturday gaming I will be there by 1. Hopefully will have time to read the rules for Rome, City of Marble which I just picked up.
5/12/2017 5:36:11 PM
2nd Saturday -> May 13 I have been itching to get Goa to the table for some time now! If memory serves Goa was the first game I ever played with John, and only once since.
Speaking of oldies that don't get out enough Power Grid has been considered several times lately.

I will try read the rules for Ora tonight; it appears to be something between his Agricola and Glass road games. That or Trajan, but both seem a heavy for my wussy taste. Hmm perhaps London then. Nah, will bake banana bread instead.

2nd Saturday of June - 6/10 Unless work happens I will be there by 1 and leave early at 5. Still want to play Goa and Power Grid oldies. Or Stone Age or Lorenzo again.
6/9/2017 7:00:00 PM
2nd Saturday of June - 6/10 Can't make it after all, and I too wanted to try Yokohama.
6/23/2017 7:13:42 PM
4th Saturday gaming is on for 6/24 I will be there all day. Still want to play the oldies Power Grid and Goa. Puerto Rico always. I will try to read Automobile's rules, but it may be too heavy for my tastes, unlike his Moongha Invaders. Got to play Yokohama and liked the mechanic, would enjoy playing again.

Fourth of July gaming! I'm in! Still want to play Goa, Powergrid, Stone Age or Yokohama.

7/22/17 Gaming - Meatier game on the menu? What the hell happened during the 8th when I left yall unsupervised?

None of the long games mentioned are ones I have played. Will read some rules on the geek, unless Gail forces me to watch anime tonight. Which leaves me only knowing Scythe, and the idea of 7 players is morbidly fascinating. Paging Marvin for the Scythe crazy express.

Larry, depending on the insanity level I am willing to attempt a reprise of my Yokohama win. Also speaking of asain games starting with "Y" have you played Yamatai? I am considering ordering it.

Apparently Goa and PowerFrid are off the table.

8/12 gaming! I will be there by 1, but need to leave around dinner so no 7 players Scythe for me. The large Immortals session was a blast, and I would be up for some longer games in the future. As per my recent usual interest Power Grid or GOA if Marvin is interested.

8/12 gaming! Plans changing, maybe late afternoon
8/25/2017 9:30:27 PM
Gaming tomorrow 8/26 I can probably attend, unless nurse duties interfere, but can't stay late. Capitol looks interesting to me.
