Hi All, I'll be there and will be staying late. Is there interest in a longer game like Clash of Cultures? Age of Empires III? Eclipse? History of the World? Others??? Colonists? I have not played it but would like to try. VINHOS?!?!? Indonesia!??!?! I keep thinking of 'em!! edited by chrisbrandt on 7/11/2017 edited by chrisbrandt on 7/11/2017

...and yet another one I've thought of, A Study in Emerald... although I'd really like to try the Second Edition. ...although I'm VERY happy to play Indonesia or any of the other games I've mentioned.
I would also be keen to experiment with a 7 player game of Scythe. I know... call me crazy. There would be a lot of down time, probably, but it would be unique and probably never repeated. Ohhhhh... TOO MANY possibilities for that day!

Haven't had the chance to try out the new Vinhos. It's supposed to be more streamlined, so I'd be willing to try that if it makes an appearance. Oh, and Chris...YOU'RE CRAZY!!!

Hey Jeff... would you be interested in VINHOS (New version)? It seems like the two of us are more flexible than Judge Larry. Chris

Chris, sorry that my restrictive tastes in games disturbs you. To try to make it up to you, might you be interested in a game of Wallace's Automobile? It's not as long as some of the things you've listed, but it's pretty intense. If you think that might work for you, I'll bring it.

I would LOVE to play Automobile. I'm not saying I must play a long game, I'm just saying that Saturday will be my opportunity IF I DO want to.
Jeff - Would you do Automobile?
I think John has a copy... as do I, complete with the wooden cars, which I much prefer to the cardboard tokens, of course.
I have played Automobile with 3 and don't like it as much as with 4 by quite a lot... so I'd like to get 4 if we can. But I will play 3... and it's still a plenty long game. edited by chrisbrandt on 7/21/2017

I do not have a copy of automobile. It never clicked with me, though I'd still generally play.

What the hell happened during the 8th when I left yall unsupervised?
None of the long games mentioned are ones I have played. Will read some rules on the geek, unless Gail forces me to watch anime tonight. Which leaves me only knowing Scythe, and the idea of 7 players is morbidly fascinating. Paging Marvin for the Scythe crazy express.
Larry, depending on the insanity level I am willing to attempt a reprise of my Yokohama win. Also speaking of asain games starting with "Y" have you played Yamatai? I am considering ordering it.
Apparently Goa and PowerFrid are off the table. edited by Chapman on 7/21/2017

There's a possibility I will show -- I'm bringing Immortals, the new Queen Game to be released at GenCon. Only about a dozen copies in circulation at the moment. It's a re-do of the Wallenstein / Shogun system with some twists. Game play can be pretty long, though. I'll also bring Ethnos, as that has resounded pretty well with folks.

Chap, I'd do Scythe for seven and I stand prepared to fulfill your Goa dream... if we can find one or two others.

Always up for Goa, but only with 4. Would probably choose Fluxx over 7 player Scythe.
