Awww man. I have to work that day, but I get off at 4. I'm up for gaming if there's going to be interest into the evening. And I'll have access to a car as well, so I can get to most any location and won't need a ride home.

Spring into gaming, March 28th

Larry! I want to play this Baseball Highlights, but I don't know when I'll be able to get there again. For the past six months I have had a client at the gym who can ONLY meet on Saturdays. Not only that, but at 3:30 in the freakin' afternoon on Saturday, so it screws up the entire day most weekends. His sessions are supposed to run out the last week of April so at that time I will have more time to spend doing more important things like playing games. There might be a random weekend when he cancels and then I can make it if its a John's-place weekend, but until then, I'll just have to play games vicariously through all of you.

Dude! I am SOOOOOOOO on board with this. I have only played hundreds of games of Statis Pro Baseball, and one game of Strat O Matic so, even though I don't know "Jack" about BH I'm sure I will love it. Count me in!

Well my thanks to Larry for reminding how much of a nightmare the baseball season was. Speaking of which Larry, if you have a copy of Baseball Highlights, can you bring that? Otherwise, if Chris is reading this and going to be there today, can you bring it? I plan on coming today, but don't know what time. I do know it'll be after 4:00 or so, so I should be there in time for the dinner game.

2016 Boardgame conventions

WBC: I think you already know my feelings about this one ;-). Actually, I already have a room in the hotel reserved. We can talk about this as it gets closer.
Origins: I have wanted to go to this one ever since it moved to Columbus, given my WBC connections :-D. If I go, I'll probably crash at the place of my closest connection. If we go, I'm sure he won't mind another gamer staying there. There's plenty of room on the floor for an air mattress.
Buckeye GameFest: Speaking of Columbus, this is a fall con that the game club up there (CABS) runs and I've been there a couple of times. Its usually held around late September/early October and is a lot of fun. Its really just open gaming with a bunch of demos/teaching of new games going on. There is an auction store to get some REALLY good deals on new/used games. And again, if you go with me, you can experience the "VIP" experience of going to Columbus ;-). This includes a trip to a local Chinese restaurant there called Moi's.
Prezcon (either one of them): I have learned a lot about Justin and how he runs this convention and I don't go anymore out of protest. Remind to tell you some of the "behind the scenes" facts about this con that will never get bigger than it is now.

I will be there and would like to play Baseball Highlights 2045, which I have and/or Favor of the Pharaoh, Five Tribes, Village, Istanbul, Libertalia, Sushi Go, and Roll For It, which I don't.

At this time I am a "maybe". If I'm there, I would play Dungeon Lords and only if we can get 4 players. It sucks to have to use the "NPC" system in that game.

Hmmm, not sure how this is going to work. I am planning to be there at 1:00, but I was going to start charging John surcharges to allow me to play games at his place. I guess we'll let the lawyers hash it out.
Anyway, in the mean time, I'm up for MoV and also have not figured out the meaning of 3/27 with the game. And how dare you Larry for letting something as trivial as family take priority over gaming. You should charge him double surcharges John. If I feel up for it, I'll bring Thunder Alley to scratch Chris's racing game itch, but its kind of heavy and I'm not sure how I feel about lugging it all the way there on the bus and walking. Besides, I was really thinking of bringing my copy of Five Tribes if anyone is interested.

I plan on being there, but don't know what time yet. It'll be sometime in the afternoon. I was looking forward to playing something Epic, but the John crushed all my hopes and dreams.
