Hey,
I found out the Vassal system has a through the ages package, I'd be interested in giving it a test run sometime if people are interested.

The system is fairly straight forward, the only downside is that it is difficult to see everything if you don't have a dual monitor setup. The system uses java and opens new windows for the main map, your hand, and your civilization. However they are not individually selectable.

Sorry for the delay in response, I was on the other coast and discoed from the intertubes. I'm definitely down and setup with the files. You can start a trash game offline and if you haven't before I suggest doing so.
