Civilization V - probably best preorder deal Joe Casadonte wrote:
I'll have to check out the req'ts for the game, to see if my laptop can hack it. It's the only (real) reason I've kept a Windows partition on there.

I'd hate to have to harm Will to get his shiny new laptop for this.....

Dear god!

Civilization V - probably best preorder deal I'm justifying it as a New Years present to myself! Luckily... that means I can pre-order it NOW!

Fourth Saturday gaming, Sept 25th Since I'll be the guest host, a game of Mecanisburgo will be mandatory!! hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!
I keed, I keed...... !
Seriously though, Rick and I have been dying to play a game of 7 Ages (5 player?) but it all depends on whether there are any other interested players and also ensuring that there are enough non-7 Ages players to keep 1-2-3 other games going. Another great reason to get the word out early :-)

Any interest? Thoughts? Comments?

Thanks!

Jeff

Doesn't sound like we have much interest in 7 Ages. I'd still be up for Mecanisburgo if we can get 4-5 people.

Rick

Mark is interested so we could play 3 player if there are enough other people for other games. I'd be up for Mecanisburgo as well and hopefully we can rope Scott and another sucker.... err... player into it.

I should be able to make it this Saturday. Is it not going to be at John's place this time? Perhaps I'm just not getting a joke.

I'm up for playing whatever, but a few that come to mind that I haven't played in a while include Java, Battlestar Galactica, Nexus Ops, La Citta, Wallenstein... I assume John has all of those, but I can bring any that he doesn't if there's interest.

Also, I was wondering, is it kosher to post here a list of games I'm interested in selling and could bring to John's, since I'm too lazy to ever go to the post office?

Thommy, since this is John's baby I don't want to speak for him but I'm sure you could always post it. I recommend creating a new thread for it. As you can see... this thread has had 37 views but only 3 people have posted to it. The session will be at John's while he's enjoying himself in OBX. I'm just "guest" hosting it for him at his place. Same ABG time, Same ABG place... just no John :-(
Any interest in 7 Ages?

See you Saturday,

Jeff

Hmm, there are a couple acronyms in there I'm not getting
OBX? ABG?
Anyway, glad to know it's in the same place, I've just started to get the hang of finding my way there, so switching it up on me would have uncertain consequences, heh.
Thanks, I'll go ahead and post a separate thread listing some games for sale.
Sorry, I'm not particularly interested in 7 Ages.

Doh! Sorry Thommy! ABG is Arlington Board Gamers. OBX= Outer Banks NC where John vacations often. If 7 Ages doesn't happen (which seems likely) we'll just rope you in for Mecanisburgo.

Jeff, are you threatening Tom with Mechanisburgo?

What? Someone other than Rick and John post on here? No threat. Rick actually wants to get a game in if 7 Ages falls through.

Just so it's clear:

- normal game day saturday at my place, 1pm.
- there should be plenty of gaming opportunities aside from 7 ages/mechanisburgo.
- you're more than welcome to post here about game sales.

Come play!
