Site changes

A couple other things:
1) I seem to have to edit to fix spacing issues after posting in Chrome. (A double space turns into quad spacing for some reason.) It's just in the initial add message function, the edit function seems to work fine. Not a big deal, I don't mind cleaning up after myself.
2) Smiley faces are broken. Smells like either the server can't find the image file or the image file doesn't have the right permissions.
3) I think it would be cool to use your yellow meeple as a favicon.ico. I can send you the file if you'd like. I'm getting used to seeing icons in browser tabs now and the ABG tab is sadly empty.

Fourth Saturday gaming - May 26th

I plan to be there. Cheryl is still working out her petsitting schedule for the weekend.
I'd still like to learn Last Will. I've heard of Lords of Waterdeep but haven't seen it in play so I'd be up for trying that too. Also wouldn't mind another 3-player Ora et Labora.
I did get to play Trajan and Notre Dame from my Stefan Feld quest but would still like to try Rum & Pirates and In the Year of the Dragon at some point.
I might bring the Stone Age expansion if I remember it.

GCOM Family Picnic - Last day to register
|
Just a heads-up for those who don't already know about it. Today is the last day to register for the GCOM Family Picnic. The picnic is held at a private pavilion in Centennial Park, Ellicott City, MD on Sunday, July 22nd starting at 10am.
Registration is a little different this year. Your $20 registration gets you two meals (lunch & dinner), all day gaming and a $10 bill when you show up! A little odd but my translation is they really don't want leftovers so they penalize you $10 if you don't show up.
Online registration is a two-step process. Submit your registration info in one step and send your paypal money in another. Details can be found here:

I have a brand new unplayed copy of Trajan anxious to jump out of its box and the Small World Realms expansion, also unplayed.

Who has plans for EuroQuest this year?
Cheryl doesn't have the time to take off work so she can't come up until Friday night at the earliest. I'm thinking I may also just go up for the weekend or perhaps not at all (in protest of the $10 price increase this year!)
Figured I would poll the group here to see how many folks would be up there vs. how many folks might be around here for possible alternate gaming.

5th Saturday gaming

It's time for another 5th Saturday session at Mike & Sallie's in Herndon. Many people here already attend but I know there are some new faces in the group so I wanted to extend an invitation in case you don't already know about it!
We game on the 5th Saturday of every month (which only comes around four times per year) in Herndon, VA starting at 1pm. Details can be found here:

Is anyone planning on attending WBC this year?
Cheryl and I plan to tack that on to the end of our New England vacation. If all goes according to plan we should get to Lancaster on Wednesday night and game Thursday thru Saturday.

I think I'm actually going to escape for a bit today for some gaming! Can't stay too long though.
I want to like Tzolkin but for some reason it gives me a mental block. I would like to try Amerigo again if anyone is up for that. The second game I played was drastically different than the first game so now I'm curious as to which is closer to "normal".
