New Year's Eve gaming - 1pm Sounds great to me! In anticipation, I moved my usual Thursday client to Wednesday next week so I have Thursday and Friday open.

Day after Christmas gaming, Saturday, 12/26 I should be there (weather and parking permitting!) I haven't done any gaming since BGG.Con so I'm seriously Jonesing! Would love to try out the Small World expansions which I bought but haven't opened yet. I can bring them if you don't already have copies. I also have the 1912 expansion for TTR-Europe. Same deal, purchased but unopened and I can bring my copy if you don't already have it.

New Year's Eve gaming - 1pm Anyone up for some pre-gaming lunch on Thursday?

I'll be near Tysons in the morning and was planning a stop at the Ledo's on Rt. 7 in Falls Church on my way to John's. Let me know if you're interested in joining me and we can firm up a time, I'm tentatively thinking 11:45-noonish but it may depend on how my morning goes.

Ledo's is a convenient 2 blocks off I-66 or GPS your way to 7510 Leesburg Pike, Falls Church, VA 22043.

Rick

Edited for typo...

2nd Saturday gaming, welcome to 2010! It looks pretty. A map and lots of bits to play with. I'm not likely to make it this Saturday though but maybe this weekend can be the warm up game for 5th Saturday at the end of the month. By then you should have worked through all of the "oops, we played that wrong" rules.

The Blizzard of 2010 Commemorative CIV IV Game? 10 might be too early for me but I could probably swing 11am.

Mike Gibbs is also interested.

GCOM Game Days 2010 Who's going to Game Days this year? I plan to be there for all 4 days. It's a week earlier this year due to scheduling at the hotel. April 22nd - April 25th. Same place in Timonium but depending on attendance this year we are looking at a larger site for 2011 or 2012.

Just wanted to throw out a reminder that the early bird discount for Game Days is still available through March 5th. $25 for Supporting Members and $30 for others. If you already have a GCOM website login you can go here:

http://www.gamesclubofmd.org/Login.asp

to login and then either click on the Store link on the bottom left nav bar or just go here:

http://www.gamesclubofmd.org/Store.asp

If you login first your info will already be populated when you go to fill out the registration form and any applicable discount will be applied to your price. If you don't have a login and want one you can email Eric Haas <erichaas@comcast.net>

It's a little clunky but it's a vast improvement over what we've had in the past (nothing)!

GCOM Game Days 2010 RE: Silent Auction

Not sure what the latest plan is. Tom McCorry is in charge again this year. We were contemplating having it in the breakfast room on Saturday afternoon (one day only). Last I heard at the GCOM BoD meeting they had decided to cut down on vendors to make more space so we might be able to have it in the main room. The breakfast room has some annoying restrictions that we might end up not wanting to deal with.

But yes, there will be a silent auction. Where and for how many days, still TBD.

2nd Saturday gaming, May 8 I'm in.

If there's a beginner's game of Homesteaders I'd be interested. Don't know anything about Macao.

B&B Order? I have a handful of stuff I want to order from Boards & Bits. Probably not worth it unless I can split shipping. They are having a special for items shipped out of the WA warehouse, unfortunately the stuff I want is in OH.

If you're planning on placing an order already please let me know if I can jump in with a few small items. If there are a bunch of people in the same boat wanting to order only a couple items each I'd be happy to coordinate.

2nd Saturday Gaming, 6/12 Hey, shouldn't we be talking about gaming or something?

Seems like it's been forever since the last ABG session! I plan to be there, who else?

Second Saturday gaming, 8/14 I think I can make it. I have the new Small World: Tales and Legends expansion that I'd like to play. Also have a copy of the Cursed expansion to complete John's set.

Fourth Saturday gaming, Sept 25th Doesn't sound like we have much interest in 7 Ages. I'd still be up for Mecanisburgo if we can get 4-5 people.
