That's right, Arlington Board Gamer's started up in the fall of 2002. While I can't say it's been a fairly consistent string of game days any more, I think that was true until COVID and such happened, and hopefully we are back to consistency again!

I am confident that there has been well over 200 game days... and I'm glad to have gamed with you all over the years, for it's the great folks who make it by that have kept it up for so long.

The 8th will be a game day... I'll have it in the party room downstairs, with it's larger capacity and better climate control.

I encourage everyone who has been to a game day before to try to make this one (or even if you haven't and somehow hear about this)!

Please RSVP if you can and I very much hope to hear from you!

20 years! What do you think?

This bums me out: we'll be in Canada for Thanksgiving during this weekend so won't be able to make it to the festivities!

Congrats on this milestone and may the gaming continue for many more years!

Congratulations on 20 years of ABG! I'm happy to have been along for the ride for a few years with y'all. Unfortunately I can't be there on the 8th, but I'm glad I got to stop in for gaming at the end of August.

It was great to see you, Phil! Here's hoping these more DC trips in the future!

It has been too long! The only important thing is having you there! But I would never say no to one of your famous baked goods, if you find yourself with extra time.

Just a reminder that this will be in the party room on level 'P'. As I remember, there's a locked door between the elevator and access to the party room, but I will be keeping an eye out to let people in and will post instructions on getting in an alternate way.

The community/party room is on the P level. You'll go to the P level in the elevator, exit the elevator lobby and turn left. If you head straight at that point, you'll hit a locked door, but the party room is straight through from there.

If you check in with the front desk, I think they'll call down to have someone let you through. Alternately, you can call me directly.

If you're more adventurous, you can go into the courtyard on the P level, turn left and go to the last door on the left, I'll try to leave it open.

If you get completely stuck, there is an elevator directly accessible from the P floor lobby that takes you back to the main lobby, where you can buzz for access back into the main lobby (or leave through the garage at the end of the day).

In previous years, you couldn't get back into the P floor lobby from the courtyard without a key, but that is no longer the case.
