November 9th is the 2nd Saturday of November and a game day! Normal timing... I hope you can make it!
Nothing like some brisk fall weather to stimulate the need for some GAMING!
Who is coming by and what would you like to play?

I'll be there. I presume my copy of Key Market II should be in by then. (Really just a reprint of Key Market I?)

I’ll be there. Going to Euroquest on the 8th, but I’m finally ready to skip my annual disappointment at failing to score a game in Saturday night’s prizes. May sublimate by buying a lottery ticket.

Key Market did indeed arrive.
I'd also enjoy playing Food Chain Magnate, as I expect I'll be getting the expansion to that sometime in the next few months. When if first came out I only got a chance to play it twice, so I am itching for more exposure!

I'll be there, from 1 to 9. I've only played Key Market once, when it first came out, so I'd be happy to give it another shot. Food Chain Magnate, sadly, is beyond my capabilities. But I'm open for any other newish game. See everybody there!

Larry, if Food Chain Magnate doesn't work for you maybe we could try Duck Dealer.

I’d like some of that Key Market action. Long been a grail game, now widely available.

I will be there tomorrow, but I will probably miss game #1 and arrive around 3PM. I'll bring Tapestry again and the new Fantastic Factories, a little engine building filler. I'm a strong pass on FCM, but I've never played Key Harvest and would like to.

I would like to try Tapestry again.
I played four new games at Euroquest yesterday but none of them were yet available in the Canton Games shop. I thought two were worth playing again (Crystal Palace and Its a Wonderful World). One may have just been poorly taught (La Stanza) and one was just a waste of cardboard (Quantitative Easing). I also sat in of the rules for the new Alexander Pfister game (Maracaibo) but I didn't get a chance to play. In general, it gave me some hope that folks have not run out of creative new ideas.

Funnily enough I read the rules to Crystal Palace and Maracaibo before Essen, neither seemed particularly interesting. The former had a convoluted set of mechanics that felt complicated for the sake of being complicated, and the latter felt like you're basically doing 4 rounds of the same things. I played La Stanza and QE as well, one was okay, but really hurt by the less than intuitive rules, the other I didn't care for simply because I don't like auction/bidding (blind) games.
In other news, I believe the reimplementation of Larry's Deduce or Die is on Kickstarter today.
