November 2nd Saturday gaming I will bring Black Friday and Domaine in hopes of getting some (new to me) old games to the table.

Kings of Air and Steam Hey everyone-

I was looking at Kings of Air and Steam yesterday & I think it looks like a pretty cool game. Would people be interested in going in on a bundle for the kickstarter? If we can get 6 people it would be $30 apiece including shipping. TMG is swearing they won't let online discounters get their hands on it, and the games would reach us a month before they hit retail stores. (If TMG is to be trusted!)

The rulebook can be found here. It looks like it uses Steam-esque pickup and deliver mechanics paired with some roborally like programmable movement for the transporter. Also it features asymmetric player powers-> something I'm always looking for in games.

4th Saturday Gaming I'm going to do my very best to ditch family and get into town in time for boardgaming. :-)

I don't think that's what he meant, but you should bring your donuts anyway.

First gaming in 2012! 2nd Satuday, 1/14 I'll be there. I'll be dragging Kingdom Builder, German Railways, and maybe War of the Ring in tow.

Games for Sale Hey All-

For those of you who haven't heard, I'll be moving to Minnesota in just a few weeks. I'm selling off some games to help with the move, so I thought I'd offer them to this group:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aq_SnvfZxyIYdFQzdkt1MTNQa2VKYlIxTXFPX2l2TWc#gid=0

I'll be coming to John's on the 10th, and we can do a pickup then. First come first serve: I've offered this list to one other group, so I'll be looking at time stamps on e-mails & posts if multiple people ask for stuff.

It's been wonderful having through group to game with consistently for the last couple years. Thanks to John for making it all possible!

Mike

2nd Saturday 1/12 I presume John is still hosting like clockwork every 2nd and 4th Saturday, right? I will be in town this time around.

First ABG game day of 2013!

1pm start. Who's coming? What would you like to play?

As posted elsewhere, I'll be back in town for this week, dragging along my fiance. I'd love to play some Dominant Species. Carrie is less picky.

Gaming, 10/26 Personally I'd blame the British for confusing Halloween and Christmas in the first place. Ghost stories at Christmas? Preposterous.

Gaming 12/27 - Who's around? I can make it. What new games has arlington been playing lately?

Gaming 12/27 - Who's around? Over the last two years I forgot the apartment number: what was it again?

9/24 gaming Greetings from Minnesota! It looks like some plans of mine in the area have changed for tomorrow, and I'll be able to pop by and visit/game in the evening. Hope to see some familiar faces.

We did indeed get Lisboa in... it was difficult and long, but pretty interesting.

Plus, there are no "Former" ABGers... there are just current ABGers who have taken an abnormally long time between game days.

I thought ABG only met once a year on the fourth Saturday of September?

But yes, greetings from Minnesota! Also, I can make it this Saturday as Larry said.

Is that where the Barnes and Nobles used to be? I'd be up for checking it out sometime but would probably want to BYOGame.....

When I first moved to Arlington in 2008 that location is where a Thai place with live jazz music(and...a CVS?) was. Around the time I left (2012?) it was under construction to add condos or something like that. (I walked by it every day on my way to work.)

It looks like the development is done at this point. But that was a long way of saying, "No, I don't think a Barnes and Noble was there".
