2nd Saturday gaming, May 8 Gaming is on as normal this upcoming Saturday, May 8th. 1pm.

I have two new additions, Macao and Homesteaders, both of which I'm hoping to get in.

Who is coming and what might you like to play?

4th Saturday gaming, May 22 Moved!! As the subject says, there will be no fourth Saturday gaming this month. May 8th gaming is on as normal. The regular schedule will resume in June.

Sorry for any inconvenience!

Edit - Given Kent's generous offer to host some gaming, I changed the title of this thread. Please see below if you wish to join in (NOTE - this is not happening at my place, but Kent's!)

2nd Saturday gaming, May 8 Rick, I think all the games are going to be beginner games!

Macao is all about getting cubes and using cubes to build things that let you get more cubes until you can convert your cubes into points. It's unique mechanism is that the main input of cubes comes from a dice roll that everyone shares. If you pick the high numbers to get more cubes, it also pushes out how far in the future those cubes come into play for you. I've played it once and enjoyed it.

Sounds like fun. I like both dice and cubes. What's the map look like?

Well, there _is_ one. Isn't that enough??

Kent, if your coming by, I wouldn't mind trying cyclades again!

Who plans on making it? Having anything in particular you want to play?

July 4th gaming! I'm hosting the customary gaming for July 4th again this year! We'll start at 1pm, like normal and go late, since Monday is a day off (for most, anyway). Not much by way of fireworks to view anymore, though you can see some way off on the horizon.

Who will be joining us??

July 4th gaming! Woo!

I imagine parking might be a little worse, but probably nothing crazy. Remember there is always the mall parking option... A little bit of a walk, but cheap.

WHO is going to be there? Have anything in particular you'd like to see played?

Fourth Saturday gaming, Sept 25th The fourth Saturday of the month is a week and a half away, but I thought I'd get the word out early this time.

1pm start, as normal.

Who is planning to make it? Do you have any games you'd like to see played?

2nd Saturday of October and Congress of Gamers? Who here is interested in (or planning to go to) the Congress of Gamers on October 9-10?

For those that don't know, it's a relatively new local gaming convention that's run by some great people. I'd encourage everyone to check it out if they can, they are people worth supporting and, hey, more gaming!

Unfortunately, it does intersect with one of my normal game days. So, I'm trying to find out if:

- you're planning on going to CoG -or-
- you're planning on heading to my place, but could be talked into CoG -or-
- you're planning on heading to my place, but wouldn't be interested in CoG

Based on the replies, I can figure out if I should host or go to CoG myself (which, like I said, worth supporting).

Fourth Saturday gaming, Sept 25th Just so it's clear:

- normal game day saturday at my place, 1pm.
- there should be plenty of gaming opportunities aside from 7 ages/mechanisburgo.
- you're more than welcome to post here about game sales.

Come play!

2nd Saturday of October and Congress of Gamers? I will be hosting this Saturday, so feel free to come by, starting at 1pm, as normal. I'd still encourage anyone who was contemplating it to attend CoG, but if you definitely aren't up for that, come on by!

4th Saturday game day! By gosh and by golly, it's time for another game day!

Tomorrow, of course. Start at 1pm. There will be all the normal festivities, that is, game playing. I hope to see you?

Who's planning on coming?
10/22/2010 2:30:08 PM
4th Saturday game day! Is anyone coming from the Maryland side of things? Marvin's in Silver Spring and and needs a lift to gaming (but not back).
