November 2nd Saturday gaming

I was also fooled by November 2nd Saturday gaming until I realized it's "November - 2nd Saturday - Gaming". It reminds me of the Panda who strolls into a saloon, opens fire, and then tosses a poorly edited encyclopedia on the bar while he exits. The encyclopedia states, "Panda - Eats shoots, and leaves."
I hope that has no grammar errors in it or I'll look like a fool. Well, bigger fool... like the person who posts after the poster.
I'd be up for any Stefan Feld game. Does anyone have the new Discworld game? I'm hoping it'll arrive at my place from Thoughthammer before Saturday.

ALSO!... I just got the new Spielbox Magazine, which has more maps for Die Bergen von Burgund... So I'll bring them and that.

4th Saturday Gaming

Update... I brought Thebes, Stone Age, and Incan Gold to Knoxville to play with my family. Nephew wanted to play 24X7, nobody else was interested. Teaching for all three games consisted of me explaining a few things and him saying, "Yeah, yeah, whatever, I think I get it, let's just play!" My nephew goes crazy and we go to Sci Fi City Game Store (very nice!) and he starts eyeing Power Grid, so I buy it for him. We played both sides of the map. He's 14. Let's just say... "My work here is done." ...another gamer indoctrinated.  Chris

I'll be there! I'm bringing RISK: Legacy if anyone is interested in perhaps starting a campaign. And, of course, I love new games. I'm also bringing parts of CAPO (Bob A will bring the rest) for playtesting. Mark, Bob, and I have played it and enjoyed it.

Fourth Saturday gaming!

My attendance will be a last minute decision. I would like to continue the RISK: Legacy campaign if anyone else is interested, but don't feel like you can't play it without me.
I'm always up for VINHOS, as long as I don't have to teach it. I know Kent loves teaching it, though.
My gaming mojo always remains in a revved up position, so no problem there.
I hope to be there.

Well, obviously, I didn't make it back. It took 2 1/2 hours to sign on the contract paperwork... and listen to the Realtor regale us with extensive Real Estate humor.
On a different note, we played our 8th game of RISK: Legacy in my Monday night group and the game is getting wild and exciting! I think this "consumable game" concept is awesome. I'd like to play it again in our Saturday group... I promise... no spoilers!
Denoument... Our contract was accepted and, if inspection and financing go through, we'll move into our new place in mid-April. First order of business... set up the game room!

Did I read this correctly... last game day for a while?!?! If I did, I wouldn't mind hosting a 2nd or 4th Saturday once in a while... for a while. My collection is not as wonderful as John's but it's OK. Biggest issue ... VERY limited visitor parking at our place. Chris
