5th Saturday Gaming this weekend (4/30) For folks who are not going to GCOM's Game Days this weekend, we're gaming this weekend in Herndon starting at 1pm if anyone can make it. Info here: http://gameday.bynaker.com/

Please let me know if you can make it, I like to have a rough head-count for food and drinks.

Board games, May 14 I can't make it on the 14th but the 7th is a welcome surprise. Count me in as a solid maybe.

Gaming to give thanks for, Nov 26th I wouldn't mind giving Terraforming Mars another try. There was also talk at some point of Clash of Cultures but I'm not sure where we ended up on that one. I'd play tomorrow if that works for folks, I think John has a copy (which may still be unpunched). I may have some player aids somewhere too but I can't seem to locate them at the moment.

2nd Saturday, 7-8 I plan to be there. I'd be up for GWT. I played Tempus a LONG time ago and thought it was fairly meh.

5th Saturday gaming in Herndon I'm cross-posting this all over the place, so hoping for a good turn-out.

5th Saturday gaming is on for 12/30/17. The usual 1pm start time at Mike & Sallie's in Herndon.

As a special treat to end the year we're planning to make pulled pork BBQ for dinner. If you have a favorite side dish (or would like to bring one) please chime in and we can try to plan accordingly.

As usual, RSVP so I have a rough head-count and I'll try to post updates here:

New years Eve gaming? I'm interested! What time? I'm usually dragging quite a bit the Sunday after 5th Saturday so it might not be until after dinner for me.

Anyone ordering games? Is anyone ordering games this week? I'm interested in a copy of Concordia: Aegyptus & Creta which is in stock for $17.99 at coolstuffinc.com but I'd be nowhere near the $100 needed for free shipping.

Paul Marshall I liked Paul. He's been a fixture at GCOM events for many years and I even ran into him at Buckeye Game Fest in Columbus a couple years ago. He was a friendly, easy-going fellow who was happy to teach games to folks and share his excitement about the hobby.

July 4th gaming? Yay! I plan to be there. Cheryl might be there but would have to leave early to do pet visits.

Gaming 11-10 CANCELLED They bumped EQ by a week this year (prior years it's been on DST weekend, covering the first Saturday of Nov.)

I'm not registered but may go up for MegaCiv if that happens on Saturday. Folks are supposed to sign up in advance and Jamie will let me know how many people we have by Friday night. ABG was actually my backup plan if there's no MegaCiv (since it's tourney-centric, EQ isn't really a good con for something like MegaCiv so I'll be surprised if enough people sign up). Since you're not at ABG then I may end up driving to Baltimore for the day anyway. Or just catch up on stuff around the house.

Ok, we have at least one early taker, so we'll make tomorrow's start time 1pm.
Things have been a bit crazy lately, so I don't have any actual NYE type stuff, but I'm thinking no one really cares about that part, just nice to bring in the NY with friends.

I think Cheryl will be coming too (not sure what time yet) and we can bring something to drink.

Games for sale I'm trying to cull my collection some. Before I put these in the CoG Auction Store, is anyone interested?

In shrink:

Celtica 15
Kragmortha 8
Robber Knights 6
Voodoo Mania 4

Punched, complete:

Age of Mythology (includes 5-6 player pieces) 25
New World: A Carcassonne Game 15
Vanished Planet (includes expansion) 25
Awful Green Things from Outer Space 10
Buccaneer 9
Naval Battles 10
Relationship Tightrope 5
Risk 6
Wits & Wagers 9

Prices are loosely based on BGG Marketplace and may be wildly out of sync with reality so please feel free to make an offer if you think the price is out of whack!

Email rbynaker (at) gmail (dot) com if you're interested.

Games for sale Okay, dropped prices based on what didn't sell at EuroQuest. I may cull some more games from my collection at 5th Saturday later this month.

February 8th gaming! I won't be there but I'm sending "It's A Wonderful World" with Scott. It was my favorite Essen game at EuroQuest last year and I somehow managed to pick up a copy in shrink from another gamer here in Arlington.
